In this text, children will get a close up look at the creatures and plants that thrive inside a rain garden. I wrote it for children, with rhythmic verse and colorful illustrations, yet I hope to reach adult hearts with the environmental message as well. Every little bit helps when it comes to watershed health. Embrace the rain before it hits the drain!

"All generations will enjoy reconnecting with nature as they're guided by Author Sally Wenczel, who takes them on a journey to build a rain garden. Through beautiful illustrations and a fun bee, she brings her audience to a keen awareness of the impact storms and pollutants are having on our waterways. A runoff area is transformed in to a beautiful garden, populated by rich foliage, colorful flowers and creatures like our friendly bee and hummingbirds." -Mary Conley Eggert, Global Water Works Founder
